The Township offices have been notified of a potential scam being used on senior citizens.

The caller identifies herself or himself as working for the Homestead Rebate Program. The person states: "If you are (name), Press 1; Now enter your social security number."

Please be advised that no one from the Homestead Rebate Program (or from any bank, credit card company or public utility, for that matter) will call anyone for their social security or other private information. If this happens to you, call the Hopewell Township Police Department at (609) 737-3100.
