Effective August 1, 2008, generic drugs will have a $6.00 co-payment and brand name drugs a $7.00 co-payment under PAAD. You may pay less for generic drugs if your Medicare prescription drug play chanrges you less than the new $6.00 co-payment for generics. In additional, PAAD will no longer pay for diabetic testing supplies for PAAD beneficiaries. If you are a PAAD participant, you should receive this information in the mail.
