Chairman Mansier brought the Meeting to order at 2:08. Notice was made of meeting the Open Public Meetings Act requirements.

The previous minutes were approved as submitted and Chairman Mansier requested that Secretary Riley provide a copy to muni personnel.

Chairman:

Chairman Mansier has been contacted by Hopewell Township Mayor Sandom seeking assurance that the SAB will participate in the "all department" meeting on March 5 to be held at Merrill Lynch offices. Accordingly, the Board has prepared a report depicting, in words and pictures, the activities of seniors to date and the Boards aspirations for future projects and facilities.

Senior Services Coordinator:

Senior center issues:
- Bids are still coming in relative to the mandatory adjustments for the handicapped lavatory.
- Directional street signs will be in place March 1.
- The foundation has raised $2,100.

Funds for New Senior Center:
- We have approached the county to clarify procedures and required participants in our preparations to request them to release purported "set aside" funds for the capital budget for the new center.

- Concurrently, we are approaching Rep. Holt's office to ascertain if federal capital funds might be available.

Brochure:
The final draft of the all-purpose brochure will be presented to the board for approval during the March board meeting.

Muni Presentation:
The slide presentation to the municipalities has been completed and will be given at each of the three entities in front of the respective Mayors, councils and the general public. To reinforce the plausibility of our planning, a letter from the “Y” was recently added, assuring all that they intend to work in coordination with us during their new project.
